"Bamboo Rhythm Courtyard"
There are multiple public art landscapes made of Bamboo Steel® in both
Terminal T1 and Terminal T2 of Chengdu Tianfu International Airport.
"Bamboo Rhythm Courtyard" is also a major highlight of the airport
architecture. Bamboo Steel® was used in the landscape installations of the
Bamboo Rhythm Courtyard and the outdoor courtyard floors.
"Mutual Generation of Water and Wood"
"Mutual Generation of Water and Wood" is composed of sliced
pieces of Bamboo Steel® materials. Different visual effects can be produced
when viewed from different angles. When looking down from the second floor of
the interior, the overall shape is in the form of the letter "S",
which represents the first letters of "Sichuan" and
"Water". The seats are arranged on both the inner and outer sides for
passengers to sit on, which maximally satisfies the basic function of providing
a temporary resting place for passengers. At the same time, the "S"
shape consists of semi-enclosed and open spaces, which meets the gathering
needs of different groups of people within a small area.
"Endless Growth and Renewal"
"Endless Growth and Renewal" takes the shape of a bamboo
basket in the Sichuan region as its creative source. Through the artistic
treatment of the Bamboo Steel® shape and the combination with the bamboo
weaving craftsmanship, it ingeniously combines natural bamboo with the
"bamboo" in human culture.
