On November 7th, the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the International Bamboo and Rattan Organization (INBAR) and the Second World Bamboo and Rattan Congress were held in Beijing. With the theme of "Bamboo and Rattan — Nature-based Solutions for Sustainable Development", this congress aims to promote the healthy development of the bamboo and rattan industry, contribute to the achievement of the carbon neutrality goal, explore new opportunities for the development of bamboo and rattan, and create a new platform for dialogue on bamboo and rattan. This congress is jointly hosted by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration of China and the International Bamboo and Rattan Organization. Representatives from INBAR member states, relevant international organizations and non-governmental organizations, as well as scientific research institutions, universities and the business community participated in the congress.
Xi Jinping pointed out that since its establishment, the International Bamboo and Rattan Organization has been committed to the protection, development and utilization of bamboo and rattan resources, and has played a constructive role in promoting global ecological and environmental protection and driving sustainable development.
Xi Jinping emphasized that China has been vigorously promoting the construction of ecological civilization, actively practicing the development concept of harmonious coexistence between man and nature. China is willing to continue to work hand in hand with all parties to build a community of life for man and nature and jointly build a clean and beautiful home for future generations.
Chen Shuwe, with the topic of "Standing at the Forefront and Seizing the Momentum", introduced the positive contributions made by Zhuyuan Technology and its efforts in exploration.
