The site of the meditation center was previously a tea house built in the 1970s and had been abandoned for many years. Considering the difficulty of construction in the mountainous area, such as the inability of large mechanical construction equipment to enter the site, the difficulty of transporting heavy materials like large-span steel beams, and the inability of local workers to install and operate them by hand, the architect introduced a glass pitched roof with a bamboo truss system. The truss system is composed of extremely small bamboo steel components connected together. Each bamboo unit has a material cross-section of only 2 cm * 4 cm, but it has a strength close to that of steel at the original height of wood, achieving a large-span space of over 12 meters and enabling local workers to complete the assembly without the assistance of large machinery.
